Maybe they learned their lesson

Glad to see a poker room investigating... I do know several poker sites that do random investigations. And there are many sites that require documentation before any cashout is made.

Maybe if AP and UltimateBet had been a bit more attentive in the investigation of accounts, Americans wouldn't be looking to the US government for legislatative protection. What a boost it would be for everyone's feelings about the security and integrity of online poker sites if we could depend upon the poker rooms to do some internal auditing.

Buying merchandise in advance with the intention of selling it is very risky - especially in the current economy. I've been in the t-shirt business since 2000 and I stopped inventorying my own products in 2003. All t-shirts I sell now are printed when ordered and all get a 30 day guarantee.

There has been a delay in getting authorized merchandise in the shop here and at TW due to a technical problem. How to do payments allowing the use of credits and if necessary additional cash? I have a few ideas but haven't had the time to work on them. I'll see if this weekend I can't spend some time and get the technical problems resolved.

PitBull is a great site for non-PC people... but the rest of us are spoiled by the likes of Carbon and ThirdBullet.

PitBull states their terms .... the reason so many complain is they don't read the TOS before they start to play.

The 21st isn't Thanksgiving, the 27th is. As I don't have either Sportsbook poker or PlayersOnly on this laptop I can't check if the game is on the 21st or if that was a typo

Cake poker / Re: WOW!!!
« on: November 17, 2008, 10:42:30 AM »

As the one who went out on the bubble in that game... (my aggressive nature just wouldnt let me fold an Ace High straight and my opponent trapped perfectly  ;D) that isn't just at Cake.

Been some interesting games on Merge where flopping a flush would happen consistently before the break. After the break not even the usual flush on the river would appear.

Those are the things that keep poker from becoming a boring game

puzzykat you are chasing your own tail with those promotions.  That's why I do not go for comp points or weird promotions.

They want you to spend your money there!  Congratulations to them since it looks like they got yours.

Tried their Christmas games last year and did learn the hard way.  Good luck in your endeavor.  :-\

I have done and know many others who do a 3fer on Merge... clear deposit bonus, play the promotions and qualify for the daily and weekly games... that is the great thing about Merge... can qualify for all 3 at the same time

The first post I received about the OFC Rummy game assured me it was legal in the US because it is a skill game. As the only forum challenge that gets promoted at TW is the TPFC and TW is poker - only poker - I trashed the email

SO.... how did the "legal because it is a skill game" turn into a ban of 15 states?

does anyone know if there are different types of visa's?  I bought a visa gift card at grocery store and it would not work. ( It even had the 3 digit security code on back.)

I will look for greendot next time- thanks for info.

Yes there are.  Many of the "gift card" Visa's can not be used on a "gambling site"

Since the last update I've had to turn off animations otherwise my cards don't always appear before my turn arrives or they arrive face down and stay that way.

And I will occasionally have to change the window view so I dont have multiple separate tables but instead all within one window with the lobby

UltimateBet not one of my favorite poker rooms - only two sites I am not a winning player and UltimateBet is one of them :(
