knowing that pfp has  0 tolerance for pw sharing you must consider yourself very lucky to have this favorable outcome.  (7 days)

it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Well I like the coming clean and over all way it was handled!  Every forum has different rules.  Just countries having different laws.  Hope all new and old members read and take to heart this forum's rules.

OK here is the deal. You did violate our rules and you were aware of the rules. Sassy did know our rules also and is banned from the forum for lying to me about it. Xtrain I spoke with and he thought this was a different site he was warned and explained his side of the story.

In chat here Pats said that no poker room is going to close his account, after he posted that I sent a request to Carbon to block his account for 7 days. He explained why he did what he did and said it will not happen again so he is not going to be ban from the forum. After 7 days Carbon will open his account back up based on my approval, if Pats is ever accused by any affiliate that he has either joined an event or shared a password again his account will be permanently closed.

If feel some punishment is needed in this case so the 7 day ban will prove to Pats that we can have accounts closed if players join or share another forums private event. As long as Pats follows the rules from now on this will be fine with me for him to stay here.

I get the banning of someone from a forum, but that is kind of a strange business practice to ban someone from their site isn't it? I suppose if your just a freeroller they could care less, but if someone tried to do that to me on Bodog I dont think they would even consider it considering my lifetime rakes plus my huge losses on the casino floor.  Do all sites do this or is a Carbon thing? Not that it applies to me but just strange business tactics.

gn you must consider that the forum owners put their own money up for their freerolls and that when someone steals a password, it is the same as steeling from the forum owner.

I am sure that the poker sites frown on stealing in any form. The poker sites are perfectly within their rights to suspend an account or to terminate an account for stealing from other members.

You also have to consider that it was not only the forum owner that was stolen from, but the members of the forum as well. This is fair business practice.

As a business, would you choose to lose one customer or 1000?

In any event, this is over and I appreciate Pats' honesty.

I am not questioning the forum's business tactics that makes sense i just find it strange that the poker site would get so  heavily involved over a freeroll, i mean every lost member is potential lost cash. Anyways how bout those Lakers?
